Pulling the Plug!

Jonathan

A picture about MC leaving the YouTube channel

Earlier this morning, I was announced on YouTube that I will be pulling the plug off the YouTube Metropolis Center channels, including MC II EUREKA! and the original Metropolis Center, by the beginning of 2020. I am looking forward to find and research some alternatives to uploading new content onto both Metropolis Center and EUREKA! in a new service. This is due to the fact, back on November 11th, YouTube officially partnered with the Federal Trade Commission and they've introduced a brand new audience privacy feature where you have to determine if what you are uploading contains content 'made for kids', and that will be integrated with this legal program called the "Children's Online Privacy Protection Act," or for short, COPPA! And, this will not be super easy for all YouTube makers around the world, such as PewDiePie, TwoSetViolin, TheSlowMoGuys, Team Edge, Vat19 (my favorite shopping channel) and millions of others. The setting will make sure that the video content is 100% safe for the young ones and without adult content like violence, drugs, people fighting, rape, sexual orientation, and or racism. If you choose that your video will be marked "for kids," here's the backdrop: no commenting, personalized ads, liking/subscribing/disliking, subscribing, end screens and cards will be compromised too, and worst of all, no saving to your playlists! Oh, and didn't I mention, no notifications either? But if you chose that your video will be marked 'not for kids', then everything will be present, including personalized ads and ad revenue. In my seriousness of this, I do NOT want to keep pressurizing on this government-brought setup when it comes to uploading new videos, EVER! And this will be a very extreme challenge on creators to check if their content is kid-friendly or not kid-friendly. F*CK YOU COPPA!!! I will absolutely not take this much further, very absolutely, very true. They will even cost you thousands of dollars if your channel is incorrectly verified as a kids channel. THAT IS A WASTE OF YOUR SPENDING MONEY! So, I am now quitting YouTube for the 2020s starting in December, I will begin to find a new video service ( hopefully the best ones ) and start preparing for the move on December 31st to that website. Then, when I chose that website and upload the first videos to Metropolis Center and Metropolis Center II EUREKA!, I am 100% never coming back to YouTube again for the rest of the century ( or when plans change in the further future ). I am retiring my old MC channels as archive channels on YouTube then make flashbacks from those channels to the new service. My movie, "Error, error" will also be kept on the archived channel for everyone to see. So, all I will have to say is, YouTube, you need to fix yourself!
