So I am about to start producing my first short film on Metropolis Center and it's called, "Error, error." The movie will be based on one of my inside jokes within some high-school friends including Nate, who repeatedly said this phrase, "error, error," when things go wrong or something we either or said was a piece of comedy, and the other guy which I don't know whose name was. In this 5-minute short film, the scene will be on location inside a basement under my house, featuring a computer that shows what's called a "black screen error," a creative 'video-ending-killscreen-bug' I began to develop back in August of 2018 after my first Metropolis Center video about the Navy Pier's Crystal Gardens elevator modernization was posted and suddenly, at the end of the video, it quickly cut to a black screen and I was "frightening" about it. The PowerDirector app on my Android device has this 'glitch' when it can instantly trigger a black screen at the end of each edited videos, and it was also found on other PowerDirector-edited videos like the Vat19 commercials compilation and they always do this method called "plug-in, plug-out," which means black-screen-to-video and video-to-black-screen, every time the end tag finishes, boom! a black screen is popped up. Nothing behind it, just two arrows on left and right, a replay button and some buttons on the top. Then, this movie will feature a turntable player with the vinyl record I made art with it, so it will sound just like what's in that international sound art exhibit Vinyl -Terror and Horror, just to avoid a copyright claim from the record (it's going to be a Creative Commons movie!). The record will also have a custom label that's titled, "you are what you listen," written in the typeface of Feathergraphy Clean to give it a "intimate" feel of what the label is saying. Lastly, it will also include my tablet device with YouTube open and showing an actual black screen to give it some scary looks when the video has stopped playing. So, technically this short film will be involving both audio and visual performances and will include some special effects and sound effects when it becomes edited on Monday. So, prepare yourself. Error, error will be premiered on YouTube starting September 12, the day before I start transitioning to a new era of age, at 20, available on either Metropolis Center or Metropolis Center II [to be determined].
